Exchange-traded volumes w/w were broadly higher barring WTI while y/y volumes were predominantly down.

In the week ending 29 May 2026, exchange traded volumes w/w, barring the Jul tenor, were mixed. In that Jul tenor every instrument was down, Brent was the biggest mover down 59.39% with WTI in second down just under a quarter. In the Aug tenor volumes were mixed, Aug Brent was up just under 13% with RBOB being the only other positive mover.
