Exchange-traded futures volumes were mixed both w/w and y/y.

In the week ending 7 August 2026, exchange traded futures volumes were mixed. Brent Oct tenor volumes slipped almost 16% while the Nov and Dec tenors increased 6.76% and 4.60% respectively. Gasoil tenor volumes were up across the board: M1 and M2 volumes jumped just over 16%; the M3 tenor could only manage an 8.73% gain. Likewise, RBOB saw increases for the front three tenors: M2 saw the biggest gain increasing by 34.57% whilst the M1 and M3 tenors could only muster a 10.44% and 21.47% jump respectively.
